You create your reality

“Your reality is a reflection of what you believe you deserve.”

Hell ya it is. You can be anyone you want to be and you can have anything you want to have.

“It is not enough to know what you want, you must also know why you want it, and what you will do once you have it! All those elements impact the world around you and therefore must be considered.” ~ Kathleen McGowan

“Consciously or subconsciously, we hold ourselves to account. You cannot manifest something that is not in the best interest of the world around you. That would not be honoring your place as a member of the human family. God’s family. Yes, we may ask, but we receive as a reward for living in harmony.” Shared from Inspiring Quote Of The Day

The “not so secret” Secret

I’ve been absent in my writing lately. Mostly because we’ve had so much going on. Moving to Hawaii to chase your dreams, is all fine, beautiful, amazing and dandy. But it sure is exhausting! Needless to say, it’s been a growing experience to say the least. Anyway, since I haven’t been around to write lately, I wanted to share a fellow blogger’s post. It is beautifully written! I mean, come on guys, this stuff just makes sense. Life is short. You’ve gotta do what you love. Be happy. Don’t sweat the small stuff. It’s only cliche because year after year people have been saying the same things over and over. WAKE UP AND LISTEN! The answers are right in front of you. It’s like the everyone is wearing drunk goggles. If we all just calmed the waters and paid attention, the truth, the way and light to true happiness are glaringly obvious.

The Better Man Project ™

It’s not about catching up with the world, it’s about creating a life full of love and passion and having the world catch up with you. The times of having to mold ourselves into someone or something we aren’t are long gone – in fact, this may be one of the greatest lies of humanity. The belief that you have to fit in to lead a worthwhile life is a facade that shades your eyes from the truth. In many cases, it may feel that you have to be the cool person in order to gain the respect and appreciation of others, but let me tell you from personal experience – if you go out into the world, declare your purpose, and do something really ridiculously cool with your life, people will take notice and give you real respect. Respect for doing what you love and bring new ideas into…

Focus. And most of all BELIEVE

Focus on what you want, not how you’ll attract it.

Do you want to win the lottery? No, you want the money that comes with winning the lottery.

Do you want money? No, you want the things that money can buy.

And even then, is that really what you want? Or do you want happiness and you think money is what will make you happy?

“Declare what you really want, appreciate what you already have, be looking for opportunities, and take action when you see them. That’s where miracles begin.” – Joe Vitale

The Gift of a Brick

A young and successful executive was driving his new Jaguar down a street in a not so good neighborhood. Very proud of his new car, he drove carefully, watching for kids and incoming traffic. But this street seemed to be deserted.

As he passed a series of derelict cars parked on the other side of the street, he though he saw a kid and heard an odd bang. He slammed on the brakes and got out to see what it was. His car’s door had been hit by a brick! He backed the Jaguar to the spot where he thought the brick had been thrown.

The angry driver saw a young boy with big brown, worried eyes, starring at him. He got out, grabbed the kid by the arm and pulled him towards his car, while shouting “See what you did? That is a new car. Are you going to pay for it?”

With tears dripping down his face and off his chin, the young boy told him he was sorry but it was the only way. The boy pointed to a spot just around a parked car.

“Please Mister, please, I’m sorry but I didn’t know what else to do,” he pleaded.” I threw the brick because no one else would stop. It’s my brother,” he said. “He rolled off the curb and fell out off his wheelchair and I can’t lift him up.”

The driver by now was more confused than angry.

Sobbing, the boy asked the stunned executive,

“Would you please help me get him back into his wheelchair? He’s hurt and he’s too heavy for me to lift.”

Moved beyond words, the driver tried to swallow the rapidly swelling lump in his throat. He gently lifted the handicapped boy back into the wheelchair, then took out his linen handkerchief and cleaned the boy’s scrapes and cuts. A quick second look told him everything was going to be okay.

“Thank you and may God bless you, Mister,” the grateful child told the stranger.

Almost in shock, the man simply watched the boy push his brother’s wheelchair down the sidewalk toward their home.

It was a long, slow walk back to the Jaguar. The damage was very noticeable, but right there, the driver decided not to repair the dented, side door. He would keep that damage to remind him of the message he saw in this act: “Don’t go through life so fast that someone has to throw a brick at you to get your attention!”
God whispers in our souls and speaks to our hearts. Sometimes when we don’t have time to listen, He has to throw a brick at us.

It’s our choice to listen or not.

God didn’t promise us days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun without rain, but He did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way.

I hope you’ll let this thought sink in… If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.

Have a great journey.

Do you allow fear to control you?

I spoke with a very good friend of mine yesterday. She’s young and in her 20s, in a miserable relationship and working 3 jobs. She’s been living like this for over 2 years – I just don’t get it. I try to plead with her to stop living such an unpleasant life but she is consumed with fear that she can’t financially support herself if she moves out. She fears instability if she stops working every hour of everyday like she is now.

If nothing else, I want to instill in each and every person I meet that you have to have faith. Faith that the Universe, that God, whatever you want to call WILL ABSOLUTELY, 100% take care of you. Visualize where you want to be, believe that you can get there and take the leap. STOP STOP STOP wasting your life away – you only have a short time to learn, live and love. Don’t waste it away working a job you don’t enjoy and then going home to a toxic environment. Each and everyone of you can and should be surrounded by only happiness, joy and love.

I literally fell asleep with a smile on my face and woke up with one this morning because I have chosen a life where I am constantly surrounded only by people and animals who love me unconditionally. “But not everyone can find that kind of love” you say? I call bullshit. I’m not “lucky” I sent and still send out that love everyday and the universe has returned that energy to me.

If you want happiness- be happy.
If you want to be loved – love.

It really is that simple, all you have to do is believe….
