Everything effects everything

In case anyone out there is wondering how I came to have such a positive outlook on life, I would like to say it didn’t come easy. I suffered from depression all my life. I tried the whole med/therapy thing and NOTHING had a lasting effect. But I got tired of being tired. So I stopped.

I stopped thinking negative thoughts.

I stopped saying negative things. 

I stopped having expectations. 

I started having faith that EVERYTHING WILL WORK OUT. Because it ALWAYS does. If things didn’t work out, I would be dead. So if things always work out, why do I keep doubting that they won’t? 

I started seeing the positive in EVERYTHING. I started accepting everyone and everything for what they were. Accepting does not mean you are saying something is ok, it means you are giving up your expectations and the desire to control everything. Just because you accept something also does not mean you have to keep it around. Accept it for what it is and if it does not positively impact your life. Move on. 

You know the saying “If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say it” – turns out that’s a good one! If what you are about to say (or type or txt) will not positively impact yourself or someone else, let that thought go just as quickly as it came. 



Everything effects everything. So make sure that everything you do and say only has a positive effect on everything else.

The secret to being happy is love. The more you love others and create happiness is them, the more happiness you will find in yourself. 

I love you for you. Now let’s start being the amazing and beautiful souls we were meant to be. 


Expectations vs Acceptance

Our only true disappointments come when something does not meet our expectations. If you accept everyone and everything for it’s true-self, all that is left is love. 


Back to life, back to reality

For everyone who went to their “paradise” for Memorial Day weekend and who is now heading “back to reality” – I ask, why? If you would rather live in paradise than where you currently waste away your existence in a daily grind of traffic and 9-5’s – why not make the change?? Make paradise your new reality. (Here’s a secret – society says its not possible, but it is…)


Don’t Let Fear Control You

The Law of Attraction

I hear people complain every day, some days that’s all I hear, and I’m guilty of it too. But we’ve gotta stop telling the universe what we don’t want! The universe doesn’t know the difference between “I wish my life didn’t suck” and “my life sucks” all it hears is “my life sucks” and thanks to the laws of attraction – things will start to spin in motion to make your life suck.

What should you do instead? Think positive, act positive, speak positive! It’s just like when you’re sad, if you force yourself to smile – even if you don’t feel like it, eventually you’ll find yourself smiling naturally and unforced. Not only that, but you’ll find happiness as well.

Think to yourself, “My life is amazing.” Say it out loud. Write it down. Over and over and over again. You might not really believe it at first – but with a little bit of time and consistency, one day you will wake up and say “wow, my life really is amazing”

Did you know that thoughts can be scientifically recorded? That means that thoughts are real. Just as real as anything else. And everything is made of energy, so your thoughts are energy. When you think something you are emitting that energy out into the universe. And via the law of attraction, that energy will then attract similar energy. What kind of energy do you want to be surrounded with? Because its completely up to you. The world really is your oyster.

How will you make a difference today?

Happy Monday! We should all strive to do good for others in every thought, word and action that we have. But we’re human so
that’s hard! Start small, do 1 good deed a day and then work your way up til it is habit to only do good for others. Whether you
start with a simple smile, a kind gesture or a donation to an awesome cause (hint, hint) remember when you have positive
intentions in all that you do, you can’t go wrong : )
